Dr. Angus Hervey from Fix the News opened the Possibility Ocean Summit with a discussion of the challenges faced halfway through the Ocean Decade and the hope in knowing humanity can always find a way forward.

In this keynote, Dr. Hervey highlighted the significant progress in ocean conservation despite these challenges, and underscored that tangible proof exists of what happens when people innovate, persist, and chart new courses together.
